I don't usually do these, but here goes. Also I always break the rules. You're all unofficially tagged. If you feel like doing it...
Rule 1: always post the rules.
Rule 2: answer the questions the person who tagged you has written and write 11 new ones.
Rule 3: tag 11 new people and link them to your post.
Rule 4: let them know you’ve tagged them.
It depends on what sort of a place I'm in in my life. At the moment I'm into a lot of Natasha/Clint also Lizzy/Darcy from LBD. But that's just at the moment.
2.Have you ever ran away from home?
3.What animal would you most like to own?
I like animals but I'd be a terrible pet owner. Because I like animals and don't want to subject any to my abuses, my answer is none.
4. Favourite band(s) at the moment?
Been listening to a lot of Vienna Teng lately and The Rescues. You should check them out, they're awesome.
5. The Moff or Godtiss (must be in Drwho or Sherlock fandom to understand)
I don't play favorites. Well I do, but not with them.
6.Do you have a favourite blog?
7.Which 3 people would you rate as the most important people in your life atm?
My parents and my brothers are all tied for first place (that's four people, but I ain't killin' one just to satisfy your need for exact numbers. ;)
8. What animal would you most want to be?
9. If you could say something to either your ex or your your future self what would you say? (e.g Dear ex….)
10. If you celebrate xmas what was your favourite gift this year?
Don't celebrate it but if you do, I hope it was great! :D
11. If you could punch someone now who would it be? Not that I condone violence but I just thought sometimes it is good to vent?
My testing partner from Aikdo Luis, he could defend against it and if I were punching him it would mean I was back home with all my US aikidoka again. Also, it wouldn't be out of anger, of course, just a mutual learning experience. :D
12. What is your current celeb crush?
I quite like many of them, I'm sure my blog could give you an idea as to whom.
13. What was your first fandom?
Harry Potter taught me the definition of "fandom."
14. If there was nothing holding you back, what would be the one thing you would do?
Divide my time equally between a research lab, a never-ending library, and traveling the world.
15. A certain blue police box appears outside your house… what would you do?
Become very scared. There are probably monsters around. Then ask politely if I can go for just one ride.
16. A ship you didn’t know you shipped?
Katie Bell/Oliver Wood, someone pointed out the possibility one time and I've been hooked ever since.
17. Star Wars, Star Trek, or neither?
Star Wars because I'm more familiar with it. However, I've never disliked in the slightest any Star Trek I've seen.
18. Do you play any video games?
No. Product of my childhood. If I had more time these days I'm sure I would be helplessly snared though.
19. What’s that one song that you could listen to forever and never get bored of it?
How can I choose just one?
20. What’s your favorite genre of film?
Well-done sci-fi/ fantasy. The same goes for my taste in books actually.
21. What’s your favorite genre of books? And what’s your favorite?
See above. Though I enjoy all sorts. Again, how can one choose ONE favorite book?
22. Who is that one person who, if you had not met them, your life would be completely different?
There's no one person for me. But I will say, I definitely wouldn't be who I am today if I hadn't discovered and read Tamora Pierce's books. So I guess that means credit would go to my friend Ashley who introduced me to them in the 6th grade. But nearly everyone I've met since college has changed me for the better.
1. What (or who) gives meaning to your life?
I give meaning to my life? That sounds really self-centered. But I'm very much a free-will type of person. I don't believe in fate at all. Basically my interests, beliefs and morals are what drives me.
2. What are your plans for your future? Are they the same now as what you envisioned for yourself in your younger years?
I would like to become a researcher (ideally a Professor) in microbiology. I've had the same goal pretty much since 9th grade with more or less specificity. Before that I alternatively wanted to be a biologist or a teacher or a biology teacher which is close, but not quite the same as my current goal. That's for my career.
If I meet someone, I'd love to have a family someday. If not, I'll steal my brothers'/cousins'/friends' kids and be the awesome aunt.
3. Do you feel like the person you are now would like the person you used to be? How about vice versa?
The person I am now thinks my past self is a little naïve, close-minded and judgmental (though not in the ways you're probably imagining) but otherwise a pretty good person.
My past self would not approve of some of the exploits of my current self, for all the wrong reasons. But would be excited to meet someone who shared a lot of her interests and wasn't afraid to show it.
4. What language(s) would you want to learn? Do you know any already (besides your native tongue of course)?
I am partially fluent in French, English is my maternal language. I know enough Hebrew to pick out words in side-by-side translations. I'd like to learn Arabic, Mandarin, Japanese, Spanish and, most recently, German and Dutch... we'll see if that happens.
5. Are you a math/science person or a liberal arts type of person? Why?
I don't think there's that much of a difference. I count myself as Liberal Arts because I like and am interested in many subjects (seriously give me ALL the details of your passion, I'd love to hear them). But I am going to school to become a scientist because that happens to have won the battle between the subjects I'm interested in. Ultimately I think the best scientists and liberal arts people (what do we call ourselves anyway?) possess the same things: Strong curiosity and creativity.
6. Dogs or cats? And why?
While I'm not adverse to cats I prefer dogs. My dogs have always been friendlier than my cats.
7. Who would you currently name as your best friend, and why?
Nope, I don't play this game. I'll tell you in a private message if it needs telling. But let it be known, I ignore the superlative rule that says there can only be one "best" and have multiple.
What is it with all these favorites? If I pick, it'll change super soon. Fine I'll choose a good one from my favorites: Stardust.
Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings. Take your pick. Others come and go for me but these always remain. (Telling, aren't they?)
10. Are you pro-beard or anti-beard on a guy? (Sexuality is irrelevant).
Depends on the guy. Though I do prefer the faire les bises with the beardless. Though exceptions can always be made for special cases.
11. How do you think your closest friend would describe you if they were given only three words?
Smiley, excited and intellectual Keep in mind, I might not choose those words. I just think that's how they would choose.
1. Free will or fate? Or a mix??
2. Hogwarts house (if you could choose, based on house qualities alone, not what Pottermore sorted you into) and why you consider it your house.
3. You can travel anywhere in the world, but you have to stay there for 10 years. Where do you go and why?
4. What is your opinion of tag posts such as these?
5. What are the most important things in life?
7. A random fact you've just learned/ or have known for a long time and want to share.
8. Do you like your given name? What are some of your favorite given names?
9. Something you've learned about yourself that surprised you.
10. Something about yourself you're trying to work on?
11. Your least favorite question of these 11 questions.
