deo is safe. alex isn’t there, neither is j’onn or kara, but it is safe - he makes sure of it. not that he is allowed to do much other than watch agents come and go, leaving to the field to protect the city against the attacks. so, he does what he can - he clears every and all exits, he secures the super-prision underneath the facility, and protects winn schott, because alex and kara care about him. “seriously, dude?” he rolls his eyes as his palm presses against the man’s chest, gently pushing him down onto his seat. “a water gun? you really think that will protect you?”

      “don’t look at me like -- like that,” alex is stood on top of a table, watching helplessly as the water floods the conference room. she knows that she move and help save the equipment, but she can’t. alex danvers is terrified. she tried her hardest not to show this, even secluding herself to the room in the hopes that it would just pass, but the water kept coming and is still rising right now. there’s no escaping this. “please tell me this damn building has a draining system.”
