Kaori out here defying the laws of physics with a faster exit edge than the takeoff.

How It Started Vs. How It's Going
If Kaori's double axel has a million fans I am one of them. If Kaori's double axel has 10 fans I am one of them. If Kaori's double axel has only one fan, that's me. If Kaori's double axel has a 0 fans I am no longer on this earth
Nostos goated program idc idc
as i watched the women's free the day after it happened, i was writing up a post with my thoughts on all the programs, but before i posted i scrolled the tag and figured everyone else had said basically everything i said or i had just said something akin to "i think this has the potential to be killer by worlds if she finds her character for it" and then i might as well hold off until then.
but i just rewatched rino and i just have to rave about it because it was simply spellbinding!!! it was like one of those perfect winter evenings, all quiet except the crunch beneath your shoes and the snow is slowly dancing down to the ground in big flakes, perfectly shaped like in the pictures and glittering in the light of the street lamps, and you just have to stop and admire it and time stops with you and so does your thoughts and for a moment you're just filled with a sense of peace and beauty. something magical happened there and i am so happy for me and us all to have witnessed it and for her to have that moment after a disappointing short.
have i ever told you i love figure skating?
ilia's free is fun. i love a program that really reminds you that at his core, he's just a teenage boy
