i always found it funny how in sci fi planets are just like "swamp planet" or "ice planet" etc. imagine an alien race tired of explaining to other races that their planet "isn't just a desert planet, it's got a lot of different locales and ONE FAMOUS DESERT okay? IT'S NOT ALL DESERT"
“And YOUR PLANET IS LITERALLY CALLED ‘DIRT!’” the exasperated alien moaned, gesticulating with all four arms, bioluminescent freckles flaring. “Seriously, I’d have thought you of all species would understand!”
