sci-pie replied to your post: So according to the back of 'Avenging Spider-Man V1', Humberto Ramos was the artist for the book.
Is it the Panini book by any chance?
It is indeed. It was cheaper than the regular version and their spines are much better compared to the grey ones they had from years back.
On the inside it credits the correct artists so how they got the back screwed up I really don't know.

Catwoman aside. The only one I wont pick up again is Superman. Although perhaps when creative team change i’ll try again
I seem to be one of the few people who actually enjoyed it. The changes to the Clark/Lois relationship and the Daily Planet seem naff, but I actually liked the Superman parts of the issue.
Plus the fact that it was sort of a done in one issue, which leads into a bigger story that Perez has supposedly created - I'm a fan.
Although Giffen having a wee stint on the title later with Jurgens can only be awesome. Hopefully he'll stay on, and not get replaced like he has on Green Arrow. =/
2.) Will you be picking up Greg Pak's first issue of Astonishing X-Men? 3.) Fraction's Defender's? 4.) Van Lente's Destroyers?
Astonishing X-Men will be traded, but I doubt I'll get the singles.I'll probably pick up Fraction's Defenders to start with and see how it goes.Destroyers will either be traded or ignored.
1.) What do you think of Fred Van Lente? (I loved a lot of the work he done on Spidey when it was jumping between him, Waid & Slott. And think his Iron Man Legacy run was pretty underated... however I think when him and Greg Pak team-up, both their work suffers a result)
I'm a big, big Van Lente fan. He's one of those mid-level writers that I can always count on to turn out something rock solid and enjoyable, and it's very rare that I read something he writes that I don't enjoy, with the only example I can think of offhand being Marvel Zombies 5. Pak is similar, which is possibly why I think they're even better together. Incredible Hercules is one of my favourite comics ever, and I'm loving Alpha Flight right now.I do need to pick up Iron Man Legacy at some point, now that you mention it.
To anyone that's in need of a comrade on Halo Reach, add "sasquatch85". He runs the awesome "sci-pie" blog.
You have to finish the Iron Fist TPB collection. This Upsets me!
Immortal Iron Fist?I've got Volumes 1-2 in paperback, but then 3-5 in hardcover.
