Gothic calligraphy calls for some gothic tunes, right?

Disclaimer: I do not own the rights for the music playing in this video. It's from a Spotify Playlist of Gregorian Chants.

Anyway, I found... 20-30 minutes last evening to do some calligraphy (it's for a commissioned piece, so it's one I've gotta make time to do - but I can still share the process with you guys). This is what I managed in that time. Two words.

I used the same magenta pigment as in some of my other pieces, as well as a black ink, which I dipped into the wet letters, creating a sort of ombre/transition. I used a 3mm oblique nib, whereas I used an ice cream stick for the large piece you can see in the video. :)
