He had leaned back in his seat, and gave a casual sort of shrug like he hadn’t just said something that would throw anyone off. Papyrus was fully aware of what he’d said though. Of course he was. Unless he was high or drunk it was rare he ever said anything that wasn’t completely measured. 

And despite the late hour of the night he was neither high, nor drunk. He could go for both, though.

“what do you think i’m talking about?” The Skeleton asked, brow bone arched in almost a challenging way. He knew Yna could be... timid, but he’d set the ball in motion. “i’ve thought about it before... us. 'just thought i’d say somethin', ‘cause i know any other signals i give you’ll just write off as an accident or you reading into things.”

Jon drummed his fingers idly on the counter, suddenly glancing up at the fish before him. He recognized her! She was that scary lady from the Royal Guard. Not observant enough to notice her complete ground-up change of outfit and demeanor, he remembered the last time an Undyne had shown up at Grillby’s. She made a mess of the whole place, and was unnecessarily brash and intimidating. Not a fun time for him. Shuddering violently, he tried to speak up.

“And...what can I get for you today, miss?” (For once, I don’t wanna die!)

          “Fuuuuuuck that feels good!” After a long week in a freezing timeline, just being able to soak up the heat in another timeline’s Hot-Land, oh it was amazing to the small skeleton. He even took off his jacket to expose his ribs so they could take in all the heat that they needed. 

     For now he was a happy skeleton.

     Grillby was no stranger to the many monsters of Snowdin as many had the habit of dropping by to his bar at least once every once in a while, meaning he saw many faces, most of which were rarely ever new. Those of which who were new, however, never seemed to cause much surprise for the elemental. 

                         Until today, it seemed.

     He didn't recognise the younger female monster, meaning she was a newcomer to his quaint little bar. But she didn't seem like she... belonged here, in a way. As if she was not only from Snowdin, but from even other areas of the Underground. Not like the flame monster could question her anyway though, considering he was mute. Being polite as always, he offered a nod towards the stranger’s direction in which he hoped was a friendly gesture.
