“Are you a monster?” It’s impossible for you to be any more straightforward. But it’s fairly obvious, isn’t it? He’s definitely not human, that’s for sure. You crane your neck to get a look at him, your eyes wide. You definitely didn’t know every monster in the Underground. And even if you did, they were sealed down there, right? Was it possible there were other monsters, from other places here? Or maybe... maybe the plan had worked after all...?
