#nerdblock #scifanblock spoilers! This month, were kicking it old school with a mix of meh,and awesome. Love this pin inspired by "Metropolis." The #twilightzone figure is ok, but the package was already opened. I really like the #Dune lithio. @liza.fox.501 likes the #startrek shot glasses more than I (but now I need to find a place for them. The art on the #kingkong shirt is ok, and o love monkeys, but the best item was the the really neat #labyrinth comic book. Glanced inside, and the art is swell.

#nerdblock #scifanblock pretty good this month. Cute little #slimer #funedibles figure. An #supernatural belt (like the show, but the belt is low quality) an AWESOME #aliens apron (I have so many Aprons now!) And a pretty neat #buffythevampireslayer t-shirt (good quality, Fiance loves it.) An odd inclusion, a #hellboy compendium book. Odd, because it's obviously left over from Golden Army. Still, looks interesting, even if it is just a printed Wikia. A pretty good block, but I admit, a let down after last month's amazing box. (at Elmhurst, Sacramento, California)

Despite the giant TNMT temptation, I was good and walked away with only a few things. Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Arc, which I've yet to find on DVD (now all I need is Temple of Doom and Last Crusade so I can retire my VHS's of them, whooo) as well as some really pretty frames, one of which ended up being perfect for the Gandalf vs Alien Queen print as you can see here (due to the oval framing, it only cuts off the corner xenomorphs, Gollum w/ chest burster and a tiny bit of Boromir with the face hugger. Lucky though I don't care for Gollum and think he's out of place in the print anyway, and there's enough other xenomorphs and Boromir showing to make it all good.) Even though I had about thirty other things in the basket, I'm proud of myself for putting most of it back and walking away with very few things. Oh my dear glob. Jan's Scifi Block (now Sci-fan) showed up and I am just so in love with everything. Even the D&D and Game of Thrones stuff which I'm not really about, it's cray how sweet this box is. I'm especially in love with the 3D Hobbit playing cards, the Gandalf vs the Alien Queen print, and the NASA poster postcards (I've wanted those posters forever and now I have print sizes this tiny apartment can handle so you bet they are going up on the wall once I get frames). Will have a full box review in my wordpress blog and ElJay soon. I was going to skip Feb's box since there's Buffy merch in there, but now I'm not so sure because of how fab this box is.
