The toxin was a concern that Will often wondered about. If there was one person he trusted to give sage advice about where they would go next, away from the rotting corpses, it was Lia. They were a unit, a family, and they had helped the Saints thrive together. Whatever the world threw at them next, Will was confident that they could handle it, but first, there’d need to be discussion and plotting.
With two glasses of water and a bowl of wild berries in hand, Will entered their usual discussion spot and put the bowl of berries between them. “So, before we brainstorm about the toxin,” he said with a sigh, “How are you doing?” Will paused before adding, “I thought if we could create the cure, it’d wipe out zombies and the toxin.” Two subjects and one conversation was their usual banter.
