This seriously wasn’t his type of deal. Normally, he would’ve just ignored it and likely would’ve kept his damn mouth shut about it. Because talking about anything, whether negatively or not, typically led to him getting into some kind of argument with somebody. It was enough to seriously piss him off most days. Luckily the one he was waiting for had been there to stop him from doing something stupid last time it happened.
His hands were shoved into his pockets, gaze watching the flowers sway gently with a faint breeze that blew through. He wasn’t particularly interested in the festival as a whole but he knew that this would be something that Zelda would want to partake in. He just had to call it a hunch and even he had to admit that it was pretty in its own way.
The sound of familiar footsteps caught his ear, pulling him from his thoughts and he slowly turned his head to regard the woman that approached. A light smile spread over his lips and his expression softened from the hardened thoughtful one that had been there only moments before.
“Hey. Thought I was gonna grow roots and be stuck here for the rest of my life.” He snickered a bit, obviously only joking, “I haven’t actually been here for very long.”
