In which Allison experiments with pack dynamics.

It started like this.

Allison was studying with Lydia in the library after school, perfectly innocent - they were studying math for Christ’s sake - and Allison was thinking about submission. More specifically, submission within Scott’s pack. Lunch that day had been one of those rare occasion when his entire ‘pack’ were together. Lydia there because Stiles was, Aiden because of Lydia, Ethan because of Aiden and Danny because of Ethan. Stiles was on Scott’s right. Allison on his left, with Isaac pressed to her other side. The symbolism wasn’t lost on her, nor was it on Lydia, if the amused looks she was exchanging with Stiles were any indication.

And there was the point. Stiles, Lydia and Danny, all acted differently around Scott compared to Isaac and, to some extent Ethan and Aiden; the humans were never as submissive. The wolves listened to him when he spoke, usually deferred to his opinion in a discussion and even offered to carry his bags for him, though Scott never took them up on the offer. It was, obviously, more prominent with Isaac than with Ethan and Aiden. Isaac even had a seemingly unconscious tendency of tilting his head to the side, baring his neck to his alpha.

that got me, too. although it could be a case of (not-so) subtle discrimination / selective information among the air acolyte community, considering they’re a waterbender and nonbender.

there is no possible way that when kya was born aang did not rush to the air acolytes' temple and gush to absolutely everyone about how wonderful his baby was and how beautiful she was already and how she clearly took after katara and how great was that and just generally be super excited to be a dad

and then he probably did that again with bumi and he probably even brought kya with him that time

and, granted, the girl sweeping outside looked way too young to have been there those times, but the elder acolytes have no excuse
