Why should he get involved? Why should he get in the way? A growl left Shoto's lips as he pressed his foot on the wound he had opened on Bakugo's stomach. Bakugo wasn't his target. Bakugo was a REAL hero. Someone completely different from those he killed. At this rate, they'd kill each other for what? Because the blond had been wanting to save another corrupted hero which had been praised by society without anyone knowing the real monster he had been. Shoto knew and he was going to make him pay.
It had been a path he couldn't avoid. When his mother had passed away, madness had started to consume the teen's heart and a new goal had been set on his head and that was to punish those that resembled his father. To reform society and show the world how corrupted and twisted heroes could be. Still graduating U.A. and rising as the number three hero, he had turned to a hero which had nothing to do with what he did in the shadows. All the information he had access about other heroes were used for what he considered himself was justice. The news had given him the name Nightfire. A villain that had been revealing the sins of those that instead of saving people have been ruining other lives. He had started a new movement. People supporting him had been wanting a society clear of the real criminals like himself had been trying to do.
But Bakugo had to get involved. He wouldn't kill him, the hero was someone that no matter what he showed had been a real hero. A worthy one to be the number one. Bakugo had been a sign of hope for their society. Killing him would be against what he believed. Wearing a red wig, and with bandages wrapped around his eyes to cover his burn scar, he tried to keep his identity hidden. Being discovered would mean that he wouldn't be able to live amongst heroes anymore. He hadn't been wanting to talk. His voice could be recognizable by someone that knew him since their high school years. All he could do was to knock him out for now. Knock him out and run away.
