6. what do they normally dream about? nightmares or nonsense? Her dreams are notoriously nonsensical. After staring at many matters of art, her dreams often involve a warped sense of reality. Aja often wakes up dazed and confused.
22. do they have a fear they want to conquer, but haven’t yet? Nothing outstanding. A minor fear of reptiles and spiders. She does have a deep seeded, almost unnoticeable fear of being alone that deepens little by little each day she remains single. It leads to some interesting decisions in her choices of and in relationships.
23. how do they show fear? sweating, shaking, blankness, anger, etc? Whenever she doesn’t have a pen to twirl, she tugs on her curls.
29. is there something they’d like to change about themselves physically? She wishes that she either fully black or full white. Being mixed has taught her much about how people react to race, especially if one straddles a genetic fence. The issue made gaining friendships hard growing up.
30. is there something about their personality they want to change? Aja wishes she was less dependent. On addiction, on people, on sex, on success. She wishes she was happier with the singular person she is at any given moment.
36. would they rather be alone or in a relationship? She prefers being paired
37. what do they think about polyamorous relationships? would they do it? She doesn’t have anything against it. It would take a particular alignment of social conditions and a lot of encouragement for her to consider one. Aja is traditionally a one-on-one person.
42. are they happy in their current living situation? why or why not? Aja is quite pleased with her current living situation. She’s successful based on her own efforts, her value is recognized by her college peers and employers, and that recognition has led her to a place of comfortable plush living. It would be perfect if there was someone with whom someone to share her life, and without her insecurities plaguing her
46. if they could control one thing in the world, what would it be? Illness.
50. where do they see themselves in 2 / 5 / 10 years? In two, back in school for the doctorate program. In 5, “Dr. Aja Loftin.” In 10, the administrator of a private museum specializing in Renaissance pieces and education.
