When another stranger showed himself he ended up just pushing himself on the ground until his back hit a wall. Nothing about that kid looked intimidating though so his attempt at getting away he gave up on pretty quickly. He wasn’t really all that eager to save himself even as the shy stranger tried to help him. His gaze moving from the ground to the boy then to his bleeding wound, wonndering if there were even a point in trying.
“You should go,” he mumbled, “They might come back.” He knew he was attacked because of what he was, but it didn’t mean they would have left the innocent boy if they were to return to see what those men had done. He really wasn’t worth another boy’s life.
