“Aww, but isn’t it so much more fun to start things off a little early with a tease.” She answered, pouting briefly before her grin turned wicked once more. “You know just how to get under my skin...”

§  Jin didn’t even know why he was blubbering like he was. He had felt it coming on, but then the tears were really pouring out. Wet trails stained flushed cheeks as droplets caught in the hair that brushed at his face. Palms pressed hard against his own skin, trying desperately to wipe it all away as the apartment door opened.

Rynn was supposed to come over simply to do a movie night. – He couldn’t let her see this. He didn’t even have an explanation for it.

She hadn’t been expecting this, but even so, the moment the redhead caught sight of Jin she stepped into the apartment and wrapped her arms around him. Rynn held him tightly, quietly pushing the door closed with her foot as she did so to give them privacy. She was quiet for a long moment, stroking his hair to calm him down. 

“Jin, what’s wrong?” Her voice was gentle, the question asked as a soft whisper in his ear. “You can talk to me, I’m here for you.”

§  It was a movement that might be considered natural, but it was a motion that was almost out of place for the situation – at least when it came to Jin. They had only had a movie night, and as he was at the door to leave Rynn’s apartment, he set his lips to hers.

It was a slight dip of his head, a hand came up to her cheek and Jin moved his own lips on top of his friend’s. And the pull-back was slow with a smile before he leaned in once again to give her a peck on the forehead.

   “I’ll see you later, okay?”

It was such a small thing, the easiest, most natural thing, really, when he set his lips upon hers. And yet - it ignited something in her she had been trying to quell for quite some time. As he kissed her, she returned the gesture in kind - an easy, natural thing that change everything. They only kissed on nights she paid...but that wasn’t the case now. 

“Yeah, of course, see you soon.” Rynn answered, trying to hide the fact that he had somehow managed to fluster her, a woman who was as comfortable with her sexuality as most men were. “I had fun tonight.”

She wanted to talk about the kiss, of course, but her heart was beating far too fast for her to know exactly what to say. He’d done it on purpose, he’d been so nonchalant about it - but the action was so important to her. She could only stand there and hope that he would do it again next time they saw each other.

I like the violet. It brings more variety and a little bit more of a pop to the design. The gold on gold on tanned skin all kind of melds together, at least for me from a visual standpoint.

You and another couple people (privately) said the same thing, yeah. Initially the colors melding together was the idea, but then I experimented a bit with purple and it just... POPS! And it kind of clashes a little with his clothing which... I honestly was going for

Wakey, wakey

It wasn’t often that Helios slept in the human world. Falling asleep on Jin’s couch, was even less expected. How long had it been since he returned back to his true form, though? 

With a yawn, he shuffled through the room. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to doze off.” Half-heartedly, he smoothed his hair to his head, but it did nothing to tame the locks.
