He wouldn’t go so far to say that he was drunk. Maybe pretty close. Definitely not enough, though. Hyunjin was debating on getting another drink or finding a way back to his apartment to call it a night. Somewhere along the way, he managed to bump into a Deadpool, holding onto their shoulder a moment to balance himself. And when his mind made the connection that it was indeed the Marvel character, he pointed a finger, amused. “You are the best Deadpool I’ve seen tonight. A++ Deadpool.” Hyunjin laughed, though at what, he wasn’t sure. “Pikachu. Nice to meet you.” He threw his hood back up and played with the Pikachu ears as if it wasn’t already obvious by the bright yellow union suit.

What the hell was he supposed to do? His options were pretty limited and somehow, Chris figured Woojin might not ask as many questions or completely freak out like Jamie or even Sam would, showing up all bloody and bruised. So, he texted his cousin to see if he was home, and once he had that confirmation, he told him he was coming over. His body protested as he waited at the door and damn, he was about ready to cry as he wrapped one arm around his aching ribs, humiliated and in pain. “Jamie’s not home, right?” His brother was usually with Joon when he wasn’t at work, so Chris could only assume he was in the clear there. He inhaled sharply. “And—your sister?”
