Grogu led him through winding streets, until they hit a tavern. It looked cosy enough - a place where Djarin might have enjoyed sitting down and letting the kid eat a bowl of chowder. But what made him flinch back was the banner hung over the door - the banner announcing the event they had going on tonight:

After closing the call and locking Grogu’s phone back into the box, Luke hid the key back where he found it and walked out of the tent. Except that no, he knew that he should just walk out of Master Yoda’s office tent before breaking any more rules, but his legs refused to move. Instead, he found his hands reaching for the drawer storing all the kids’ personal information folders.
Quickly, he browsed through the first few letters of the alphabet, until he reached the folder dedicated to Din Grogu. Inside it, Luke’s attention was drawn to his contact details - or more specifically, emergency contact details. Out of the two available lines, only one was filled, specifying that in case of emergency, the person to contact was Din Djarin.
Din Djarin. No one else. Din “Bedroom Voice” Djarin was Grogu’s single father. SINGLE FATHER.

After he finishes, Luke only has four words: “We have to go.”
“What do you mean?” Din secretly wishes Luke means what he thinks he means. Wishes Luke would validate the unreasonable, irresponsible, unprofessional urge he has felt ever since leaving Moff Gideon’s jugend villa.
“We have to go rescue him.“
I love you, Din wants to say.

The response comes fast. The pen and paper manifest on the stone with a soft thud, and Din reaches over his head and back to get them in his hands. He chuckles aloud when he reads Luke’s newest message:
It’s not suitable for a child’s ears, actually
On a whim, Din writes back:
Well, the child is asleep 😉
He had better smudge off the winking face he scribbled at the end of the message...

Luke only shrugged, even though technically, Leia was right. No, Luke was not exactly telling her everything. There was no way he was going to disclose the detail that the said neighbour was hot.
