Spent the last few days creating some custom sample libraries for an upcoming project. This video focuses on an interesting instrument - the #ukelin . I’ve recorded and featured this in the past but never sampled it. I plucked, bowed, hit and slapped it and came up with some cool sounds. Also recorded and sampled #bamboo sticks I found at the beach this weekend. Entire demo was done with these two. First recording session award at Triumph Studios goes to @nick_soole_music for the horror film THE HEAD. 😂We had a blast collecting all things metal around my ranch and just started banging on things. I recently finished wiring the studios and the scoring stage thanks to Mako Sujishi and am in the process of collecting even more headphones, music stands, chairs, mic stands, microphones, mic cables, etc because bigger sessions will be happening soon.
