This is my current table display, the background was fancy wrapping paper I had and liked. I want to redo it, I have felt, velvet and several other fabrics I can use. One of the nice things about crafting is sometimes you make something that has a profoundly good texture. Not because you were trying to make something that feels amazing in your hands, but because you keep reaching for material that feel right in your hands. You pick the technique that feels correct in your hands. You pull with the tension that feels right in your hands. And suddenly when you are tired and overwhelmed you can touch the thing you made and it feels right in your hand and the world is a little bit better.
