11. A genre you just can’t stand: you know what, @lansiosa hit the nail on the head when it came to 'White hetero male centric introspective think pieces'. The idea bores me alone. For something that's more of a subgenre, I can't do home invasion horror. That's too real and too close to home for me. In that case it's not that the movies are bad, far from it, I will never deny the status something like The Strangers has, it's just too much for me.
12. Subtitles or no subtitles: Subtitleeeeesssss please every time (unless they're distractingly inaccurate). As someone with a hard time remembering names, subtitles are a godsend.
32. Are snacks a must or a distraction: I eat when I'm hungry, even if it's during a movie. I am basing this on at-home viewings because I get to the theater maybe once a year, but in the latter's case I usually just have a soda, maybe popcorn if I feel like spending a shit ton of money.
