Dear Diary,

If prom was awesome, the afterparty was even awesomer. We all went to Arun's place and hung out in the basement. I learned how to play beer pong, and I'm really bad at it. I also learned how to do a line - I'd never done coke before but Arun had some and everyone else was trying it, so I thought, why not, right? It was crazy. I can't even describe it. But it gave me the courage to go and kiss Ava, right in front of everyone. And she kissed me back! We even made out in a closet.

What an awesome night.

I overshot my curfew a bit and didn't get back until the sun was up. My moms were PISSED. I'm grounded for like a month. WORTH IT!

It's all gone so fast, I can't quite believe it. Corey's a young adult now - headed for university, for a career, even for marriage and kids of his own! Maybe it feels as if it went by so fast because I never really got much time to be a mother to him. But, well, it was Bel's idea anyway. To have a baby.

I do love him though of course.

I'm not sure what to do. I really like Kim - but I also really like Ava - and then there's Kaori too. I'm pretty sure I had my first kiss at the party but I barely remember it. I kind of feel like I should just make up my mind and ask one of them out. I wish there was, like, a three sided coin I could flip...

Corey's been turning his grades around lately - I'm so proud of him. I've started leaving out pamphlets for my alma mater Britechester, just to get him thinking about his future...

On an unrelated note, Corey's prom is coming up and it seems as though he might be dating that Ava girl - so I gave Bella the push to give him the talk about the birds and the bees. She's closer with him, it just makes sense that she should do it.

Dear Diary,

For Christmas this year, we visited Sulani to stay with Uncle Jupiter. It was the craziest Christmas ever! All my cousins were there - Evan, Brad, Misty, Nicole, and Cedar. I'm used to spending the winter holiday walking around on slushy streets, but instead, we were swimming and surfing! When there was a storm, we hung out inside and played games while the rain came pounding down outside. It was so cool, I wish I lived in Sulani, but Mom says university first.

Dear Diary,

Last night was AWESOME. My moms were out for some event thingy, so I invited some friends over for a halloween costume party. Jing brought a keg and we got totally messed up. I don't even remember most of it, but my keyboard smells like beer now, I think I puked in my spidey-mask, and I found a lip ring under my pillow.

This morning I got a pretty stern lecture from my moms. They were worried about me when they got home, I guess. And now I'm grounded.

TOTALLY WORTH IT.

Dear Diary,

Prom was AWESOME. I'm so glad I asked Ava to come with me!! We spent the whole evening together, dancing and talking and laughing. She told me about how she wants to be a chef and run her own restaurant. I told her about how I'm going to start a band and be a rock star. I bet we could get married, and she could have her restaurant and I could tour with my band - but I didn't say that out loud because it felt really serious. I don't know. Mom says university first.

I'll write about the after-party tomorrow. Right now my head hurts wayyyy too much to keep putting words on page.

Corey brought a new 'friend' home - well, apparently a partner for a project - with an extremely eccentric fashion style and definitely lacking in good manners. I'm glad he's making time for his school work, but I worry about him having friends like that...textbook bad influence, in my opinion. What is the world coming to...?

They're certainly making a lot of noise in his bedroom right now, but at least if they have their hands on that damn guitar then they won't be engaging in substance abuse or jump-starting a teen pregnancy.
