thescottwhyte: *** BEASTARS — MELON ***
Thank you all for the warm welcome!!! ❤️
I want to start by saying how much I respect Darren Criss and the incredible work he did as Melon. I’ve been a big fan of his since Glee, and watching what he brought to this character was truly inspiring. Melon has a strong history within the series, and that performance has clearly left a lasting impression on both the show and its fans.
When I stepped into the booth for these sessions, the team and I made a conscious choice not to imitate the original performance. That version already exists—and it’s fantastic. Instead, we explored a different direction for Melon, leaning into darker tones, a more menacing presence, and a stronger sense of internal conflict—the kind of frustration that simmers beneath the surface. It adds a new emotional layer that reflects where the story is heading next.
I know I’m stepping into some very big shoes, and I don’t take that lightly. I hope fans enjoy seeing this new side of Melon, and continue to appreciate the lasting impression Darren’s performance left on fans of the series.
I hope you enjoy revisiting Season 3, Part 1 of Beastars, and we’ll see you in March for the final act.
Im coming for you, Legoshi. 🐺 @ jonahscottva
I only played the intro of Remnant 1 a couple years ago, but decided to just start the 2nd one recently and I was honestly surprised by the lore and art design in its intro quest alone. I read the item descriptions of the starter gear and talked to the npcs before the MC firsts teleports to get Clementine. It was enough for me to stop there and play the first one and it's dlc.
Y'all I was not ready for this world and honestly there have been so many multiverses and time travel stuff, which I already have a bias of not liking, that I didn't really think about a game that just deals with multiple dimensions like Remnant. I beat the game and its dlc (fuck the swamps)(affectionate) and I didn't think I would love it so much. My only gripe is that the grind for the carapace armor, at least for me, was terrible but worth it. Although it was a disappointment to hear that it doesn't reappear in the 2nd one, because its definitely my favorite armor set so far.
Also the real reason I got invested in the lore and multiple dimensions is because...
I love him your honor. Also this picture is not me I just googled the best one I could find of Dwell. Was also surprised to hear Scott Whyte and immediately chose his voice for my character in the 2nd one. Did the same for my Drifter in Warframe cause he's good at his voice acting.
Have you seen City Guys (1997-2001)?
Yes
Partially
No, but I've heard of it
Never heard of it
