When did you first meet Scott?
“I first met Scott when I got hospitalized the first time I got here in N.Y.
I got into my first mission that involved me in a physical altercation, bruising a couple of my ribs. We didn’t have a gang doctor back then, so the Hearts had me checked in at HSS as it got too bad, and Dr. Scott Aldo was the resident in charge of me. He got me back to my feet quickly, and I didn’t sustain any permanent, long-term damages, except for it hurting in extreme, infrequent cases.
Thing was, Scott was quite the talked about doctor, and after he did such a clean work on me, I recommended that we get someone like him on the team for the long run. (Because let’s face it, being a part of the gang is as dangerous as it could get.) We conducted thorough background checks and discreet observations before Sixes even considered him. And when he finally did, Scott dropped a bomb on us by refusing to join.
I had to personally see him and chat him up, convincing him that joining the Hearts would be a good thing and beneficial for both sides. Eventually, the ‘sales’ talk moved up to a personal level as we got him to agree. He seemed such a cool guy, and we had no problems getting along right off the bat. We’ve been friends for a little over a year now, and though it might seem like a short time, the fact that I’ve gotten to spend so much time with him and his wife, Sophia is more than enough to consider him as my best friend.”
