Happy Tuesday Bluesday How often do you tap into your emo mode? Uh, I use mine all the time. I personally am not very skilled in being creative without it. Whenever I try I get frustrated and depressed that I'm not in best form. I'd say the same thing about this character. Definetly has done a lot of expirementing, but c'mon he hadn't been on a winning streak for a long time... Until recently, for me. Scott & Rivers, his Japanese band is on point, great debut album. And last 2 Weezer albums have both been solid. Go ahead and make fun of me, but I've been saying that Rivers Cuomo still had it in him for years. So many eye rolls and "Get over it" I've gotten, and now I don't even have to be embarrassed. (yeah you do) uh uh no I don't. (Yup) Nope. Oh what, you don't believe me. Listen to that shit. It's all about him moving to LA finding sucess, "Selling out" losing his core audience for a mainstream fun, getting lonley, getting back to his roots, making up with his father and relearning how to rock out for sake of it again.
