where and when: baz howlett's, june 18th
"Okay." Ziggy says curtly when he manages to seize a moment to speak in between the man who had opened the door's ranting, surprised to find a vaguely familiar face. He knew of Baz Howlett which was why he made a diligent effort to avoid him. "Sure."
He's not a fan of all of the profanities he used when he explained that he wanted Scottie out of his house but after catching sight of empty bottles and white powders in his peripheral when he had stepped inside, he knew it was a bad idea to pick an argument with an irritated man on a comedown.
Descending up the stairs with a feeling of brief relief when he can hear only his own footsteps and not Baz's, he takes a guess that the only closed door was the room where his friend was.
Shutting the door behind him gently, he gives her a small wave as he makes his way over to the bed, taking careful steps to not snap an ankle by accidentally stepping on a discarded beer bottle on the floor.
"Hi baby," He says softly as he takes a seat on the edge of the bed she was sitting up in, a feeling of unease sitting in the pit of his stomach as he tries to decipher what he had walked into, "Looks like it's been quite the night. Are you okay?"

In the absence of a bottle opener, Atlas hooks the lid of one ice-cold beer against the lid of the second one and cranks it with enough force that it sends the cap flying off onto the porch floor beneath his feet.
He then holds the opened beer between his knees and carefully lines the edge of the cap of the second one up against the mouth and thrusts it downward with enough forced the second cap goes flying in the same manner.
With Chessie in mind, he gathers them both with his foot and rests it on top of them as he leans over in his chair to pass one of the beers to his sister.
"Got something to tell you and I don't want you to be a gloating bitch about it even though I know you will be."

"Got any recs on what's good?" Sal asks of the drink options, something that should have been his forte given he ran a liquor store but his clouded mind wasn't letting him think straight about anything then.
( Alcohol and all. )

Lucky knew before he started being handed to him that birthday shots were a dangerous thing but he was too polite to not indulge every time one was placed in his hand. He knows he's definitely had two, it could even have been three.
What he's certain of is he hasn't had enough to induce amnesia which is what he feels like he's experiencing as he glances at the dark-haired woman for a second time.
Realising he could have accidentally been coming off as rude, he speaks to her instead of just gawking at her.
"Sorry, have we met?"
It's not a strange occurrence to have someone he didn't know at his birthday party, it was perfectly in line with his girlfriend's excitability and her friend who's house was hosting to join forces and invite the whole town.
"You look really familiar to me but I can't place it."

where: oasis, 1 day post The Incident
Wired and wild-eyed, Oasis was the last place Buddy wanted to be with bruised nose and an even more bruised ego but after Scottie had blocked him everywhere and made it impossible for him to confront her any other way, he was left with no choice but to push through the crowd to zero in on the dark haired waitress who was just leaving a table that seemed sad to see her go.
( That would change if any of them actually knew her. )
"Outside with me now," Buddy demands loud enough that she could hear him over the music as he blocks her path passed him. He was no stranger to knowing that in the wrong mood Scottie would hold her breath and opt to die rather than breathe if she didn't like that she was being told to inhale and exhale.
"Or we can do this right here and we can see how long you keep this job for after this whole club finds out what a crazy fucking bitch you are."
