Truly you lived unfair in the farm but, there's at least one time each of you spent a good time with ther farmers? And I'm asking to each one of the 6 of you, chickens! Not everything could been that awful everyday.
“I suppose my trip to the Farmer’s Market was okay. We were outside the fence for once. Everyone was showing off how bulky and healthy we were. They’re not wrong, look at these guns.”
“I remember the fair too. It was so much fun to ride in the back of the truck and go to the farm to see all kinds of goodies. Do you remember Bunty? We saw hand crafted jewellery, fresh vegetables, hand picked oranges, knitted sweaters. It was wonderful. The farmer was so proud of our work on the eggs.”
“The farmer would feed us vegetable chunks along with our feed every holiday. We would have a grand mix of seeds, fruits and vegetables. My favourite would be dried peaches hidden in our feed. I guess it ees not’all bad.”
Ginger stays silent at the question, trying to think of one event at the farm where it was, to put it lightly, nice. “A pool.”
“When we were young, when the Summers get really hot, the farmer would add a pool to make sure that we stay cool during those days. Sometimes a large tent would cover the huts so we won’t get heat stroke. That was pleasent to say the least.”
“The farm was peaceful after the war. I was allowed to stay in the house with Willard, keeping him company when he tried to keep the farm up and running after the war. It lasted for a while, until the Missus came into the picture. It was probably for the best since I got my own space.”
“Who me? I was at the farm for a little while. If I have to pick one, I’d say that one wild party we had back at the farm. It was a lot of fun. I believe it was at a moment where Ginger and I became a bit of an item.”
