Designed in 2018, the Spirit of Ukraine tartan is listed on the official Scottish Register of Tartans website.

Suggested by ethnic Ukrainians in Canada to the designer, Mr David McGill, the Spirit of Ukraine tartan combines the colours in the national flag of Ukraine.

Judy R Clark

Edinburgh based designer Judy R Clark has produced a stunning womenswear collection using MYB lace and madras fabrics.

Judy is passionate about using fabrics produced in Scotland and our lace and madras work well with the couture aesthetic of her collections:

"As soon as I visited the mill and saw the fabric, I wanted to translate it into my womenswear designs: my historic influences combined with a modern silhouette could now be brought to life using lace woven only a few hours from my studio.

The opaque nature of the fabrics, the draping qualities and unique delicate patterns gives the lace a natural feminine feel which encapsulates a timeless beauty."
