First hockey freaks work has been posted! This is after Scotty and Mack get together at college. There’s not really any actual hockey in here, but they’re my babies so please be nice.

Summary: Xander has kissed guys before. This was nothing new. He had kissed guys during Juniors in the dark of random hotel rooms. He had kissed guys as a rookie who was still looking at everything in the league with stars in his eyes. He had kissed guys when a few of them had gotten a little too drunk at that All-Star Game after party.
It’s just a thing that happens. Xander kisses guys sometimes. He’s not weirded out by it because he’s not homophobic. Straight guys can kiss other straight guys, and it’s fine. Bros do that. It doesn’t mean anything, no matter how much Mack and Benny try to convince him otherwise.
Or: Three times Xander kisses his (self-acclaimed) hockey rival before he realizes he might not be as straight as he previously thought.

Benny is @superstar49’s oc but I’m like his cool aunt who tries to raise him like my own son bc I love him.
Mack: Didn’t know about it until Scotty asked him if he wanted to watch and then he was hooked. He likes laughing at Scotty’s faces during the sex scenes. Wants more goalie content though
Scotty: Watched the first episode and had to immediately get all the books. Her and Mack watch it together and she hates waiting for him when he’s on the road because she wants to watch the next episode. Got most of the other freaks to watch it bc they didn’t know about it.
Benny: Loves that this could help pave the way for more people to get into hockey and maybe to help start the conversation about players coming out
Bedsy: This hockey is not accurate but holy shit that guy looks like Benny 😳 Also may feel a little personally attacked by Scott Hunter
Xander: it’s whatever. His favorite character is Ilya and he sees himself a lot in Shane but like that doesn’t mean anything. Kinda wishes that Ilya was Swedish instead of Russian tho but that doesn’t mean anything.
Isak: is this fucking play about me???? Watching in secret, tells no one

Fish: The intimacy between Ilya and Shane really gets to him. Especially in the moments where one wants more but the other keeps pulling away. Cried at the “we didn’t even kiss” bc it hit too close to home and he had to go take a walk after that
