So I thought the Three Brothers (or is it Three Brothers Death?) and the sons of Adam (Cain Abel and Seth) were the same people for a while, but apparently they're not? Can you explain both of them, please?

Sure thing! By the way, I don't really know how their name is really said since it’s said differently. So it can be Three Brothers or Three Brothers Death, which ever sounds better to you! I have also heard it being it said as Three Brothers of Death. If you don’t mind, I will be explaining them in the SCP canon, not my own.

Okay so the Three Brothers are beings who take the dead to the afterlife or what other characters call their halls. Each brother represents a different kind of death. The youngest brother, Small Death, represents the death of one person like one person dying alone in an allyway or on their death bed. The middle brother, Great Death, represents the death of a large group of people like a war. The oldest brother, All Death, represents the death of humans or a species, aka the death of all things. The Brothers are one of the most powerful beings in the the SCP canon, even more powerful then the Scarlet King or any Old Gods. They are not at all the sons of Adam. (not even sure if they have parents, since they were just born from the darkness) The best tales or SCPs that have them will be linked at the end of the post.

Now with Cain, Abel and Seth I do not know that much about their lore besides the tale Beneath Two Trees. In the tale it is said that the snake, Nahash, told Cain great knowledge and spells. However, this knowledge became a burden on Cain, which led him eat and sleep less. Abel, at the urging of their mother, talked to Cain about this. This soon turned into an argument, causing Cain to strike down Abel with a stone. Adam couldn’t bear to see his son killed, so Cain was banished from their valley. Now about Seth, I don’t know much about him sadly. It seems that SCP 4840-A is in fact Seth. However I do not think that this SCP follows the same canon as Beneath Two Trees. I am not very good at explaining them so sorry if this doesn’t help you.
