It's Magnificent Bastard Monday.
Today's Magnificent Bastard of the Week: SCP-2137
I am curious, do you know anything SCP foundation stuff? Like, even just internet osmosis stuff?
Yes. I actually wrote a bit that's still in the interdimensional vending machine test log (last I checked).
(Under another user name.)
(No I'm not saying which one.)
And THIS is my favorite! :D
okay does anyone remember when that one post was making the round about SCP 5031 and how good it was. cause i just wanna talk about SCPs for a second again. most of them are just. scary monster ooga booga whatever. yknow. standard horror fare. but something bizarre happened today, i was bored and decided to binge the volgun again bc. it’s volgun. and i stumbled across SCP 2137. and like i wasn’t expecting much. i was like; “ooo funny ghost story haunted music disc. ive seen this stuff before, but it looks fun.” but i was just caught completely off guard by it. im gonna repost my comment from the vid here but like; “man this has never happened before, and ive literally never fucking listened to tupac in my entire life, but this fucking got to me. like im actually crying. ive never cried over an SCP before but the genuine belief in the goodness of humanity, that this guy would come back from the fucking dead to stop people from ending up like he did, to surpass death, not for any selfish reason, but just to help people, it fuckin got to me. so often it's just pure horror on this channel, but this really just felt like the candle in the dark against all these eldritch ass motherfuckers, and evil in general. the fact someone just believed in humanity for once, in our capacity for good, it got to me, cause i wasn't expecting it at all. i thought it was just gonna be another dumb evil haunted CD or something else, but no. it was just. this. and i loved it.“
look i know it sounds dumb but to just seem something so plan. someone just. a guy. being a force for good. not downplayed, like, he just. did it. it’s literally just tupac. doing what he does best. and he’s helping people. it’s such a simple concept but i was caught off guard by this genuine goodness, and i was so worried to foundation was gonna fuck it up or it was gonna turn evil but no. it was just, a happy ending for once. and it meant so much to me.
This is a good SCP. It’s nice to see one once in a while where the SCP gets to win.
