A quick little doodled comic about how I felt about the series finale of The Regular Show. The ending really took me be surprise, I thought it was just going to be the epitome of bat shit crazy nonsense. Instead, we were given something completely unexpected. If you haven’t seen it I highly suggest you give it a watch.
Rather late on this considering most people probably saw this episode when it aired in Australia. Hot damn this episode was wildly depressing which is the last thing I would expect from this show. It also gets more depressing the more you think about certain things like that Pear Butter probably died before she could make amends with her father and now he’s gotta live with that for the rest of his life. Yeah, think about that for a while. I know I did.
Not going to lie, I was somewhat worried about the new Samurai Jack being on adult swim. Was concerned they were gonna go balls out with the violence with blood and guts everywhere and forget everything that made Samurai Jack great. So far it seems they are just playing around with ideas they couldn’t in the earlier seasons and are going to ease us deeper into these new ideas as the series goes on. It’s off to a pretty great start and expect for it to keep it up.
