Weird question but does anyone know how to best sell scrap computer parts without knowing a damn thing about tech? I've recently come into,,,a wealth of scrapped tech (I asked if I could take it before they threw it away for good) and it's definitely got SOME usable parts, but the problem is that I don't know what's broken and what isn't in these parts. A lot of the modems have like one side missing so the circuit boards and processors are exposed. I have a whole label printing machine with seemingly all the parts with a side missing but again, they threw it away for a reason, it's just that I, as a newb, have no idea what that reason is or how to go about diagnosing it.
Do I just post the whole machines on ebay as like a grab-bag of parts? "It's def broken but hey! You should be able to get SOMETHING out of it!" ????? And how do I even go about pricing that? I mean I'm not trying to rob people but also—I do in fact need the extra money. That's the whole reason I thought about company dumpster diving anyway, like,,,,, tech people help (╥﹏╥)
