It may not look like it, but Ma-San comes from a wealthy family. But she tries to not rely on her family’s riches. Still, she likes two things: reading and drumming. And after seeing someone looking for a Drummer for a new band, Ma-San figured why not. She crushed the Audition and is now part of Milk Can. 

While Katy was the founder, Ma-San put in the most work to try to get Milk Can big. She got her father to help get a concert spot. She produced their first album herself. And she swallowed her pride when she allowed Joe Chin to help push them as far as he could. If they could make it big, she wouldn’t have to worry about relying on her family’s fortune.

It’s just a shame that on the day of the concert she overslept. But thanks to her determination and a friendly camel, she made it in time and performed great. And while they’re still not as big as to be financially supportive, Ma-San still considered it a great investment as it gave her two lifelong friends in Katy and Lammy. Even though she thinks they’re jealous that she’s sexier.

Ma-San was the first sprite I made of Milk Can in a non-flat style.

It was looking for her first appearance that allowed me to find out Katy's first true one.

STICKS THE BADGER

First Appearance: 16th Anniversary #2

Dimension: Scratch Space

Allegiance: Hero

Sticks was raised in the wilderness at an early age which led to the personality she has today. She would keep mostly to herself until she met Team Sonic. Thanks to this encounter, Sticks finally made some real friends and visited the world outside her burrow. She quickly proved a valued member of Team Sonic and their fight against Eggman and his attempts to take over the Unnamed Town. While she still has conspiracy theories, she does not let it take over her life to hang with her friends.

One of AkumaTh’s most tricky challenges, he finally completed her sprites and is trying to find a place for her within his works. Since then, she competed in the Sprite Royal Rumble and has infrequently appeared in the Patreon Exclusive Comics.

Sticks is the first Outside Media Character to appear in a Sonic Game since Sonic Spinball.

Sticks is a personal favorite of mine from Sonic Boom. I hope she finds her way into the Main Sonic Continuity.

WEBBIGAIL “WEBBY” VANDERQUACK

First Appearance: Patreon Exclusive Comics #107

Dimension: Scratch Space

Allegiance: Hero

Contrary to the original, Webby was originally called April. She was also a product of Project 87: a F.O.W.L. project to create a descendant of Scrooge McDuck. But Mrs. Beakley, a S.H.U.S.H. Agent at the time, discovered her as an infant and took her away from the Evil organization. Mrs. Beakley named her Webbigail and took her to the safest place she knew: McDuck Manor. Now being raised by Beakley, Webby became highly trained in combat. But because of her new obsession with the adventures of Scrooge McDuck, she also became overly excited so she began to learn as much as she can about him and the world. Despite all this knowledge and passion, Webby was sheltered all her life. That was until Scrooge's Nephews arrived.

With Scrooge's fire for Adventure reignited, Webby joined them on many adventures. She got to see the world and eventually become an honorary member of the McDuck Family while having two of her own best friends in Lena and Violet. But during a F.O.W.L. infiltration mission gone South, she began to question her origins. Being lured by the promise of May and June, Webby soon discovered that she was originally a F.O.W.L. creation and technically the daughter of Scrooge McDuck. As a family, they defeated the Fiendish Organization for World Larceny and continue to go on many adventures today. One such adventure is with her and her friends in Scratch Space.
