every time an important political discussion pops up on dbd and people try to shut it down or argue for neutrality on horrific events such as the palestinian genocide i face palm a little harder

why are people so insistent on posting about their self harm, implied or not, on scratch???? i understand being in a bad place mentally. i've absolutely been there. but scratch chatrooms are NOT the place to talk about this.
it's okay to ask for help, to ask for a distraction, to ask to vent to someone you know who's in a decent mindset, etc. but people need to stop posting about sh. ESPECIALLY IMPLIED SH OR SUICIDAL THOUGHTS.
i know myself and many others are not in the state of mind to read things like that. i know that these thoughts can be hard. but PLEASE do not post these things on a website where we CANNOT HELP YOU.
i really do feel for those who feel the need to rely on scratch for this, but it is absolutely not the place for sh discussions and i'm tired of nobody talking about it.
for the love of god talk to a hotline/support forum or write these thoughts in a diary instead of dumping them on a website of teenagers.
