Meet Ducky the Cat

In honor of Jessica from this blog, I'm naming her Ducky. And because she loves to chirp and cluck. And 2x because she likes to follow people around the house. 

My neighbor trapped Ducky and brought her in from the backyard. The original plan was to adopt her, but the little dog in her apartment disagreed. Initially I was excited because she has a slightly larger head which fits the lion costume I got from Etsy. Unfortunately, despite using Greenies as bribes, she won't have it.

Or maybe she was just getting into the role. Who knows. I majored in Finance not animal psychology.

Ducky is up to date with her shots and is in good health. If anyone's interested in taking this one for the holidays, email me at [email protected].

Barb & Friends Go to the Vet

Thanks to your speedy donations, I managed to bring Barb along with the other cats for a vets visit. The good doctor at Faithful Friends made sure she was disease free and fixed. Also luckily her limp was caused by a minor dislocation and didn't require any surgery. All in all, the vet cost and transportation was a bit more than I anticipated with the X-ray and splint factored in, but I still have enough left for three more cats.

Stay tuned. One of them might or might not already have moved in yesterday morning, but I spent way too long editing this video to make that post. Hypothetically.
