Scream au where Stu actually was alive and in a ward with amnesia like they said in Scream 7, BUT he also had nothing to do with the killers and they still used Ai to make it seem like it was him. Meanwhile Stu (who had been released for awhile) is just living out in the country somewhere living his best life with his dog, completely oblivious to what atrocious crimes he committed in his youth or why he has those scars.

As a long time fan of the franchise, I have to say this is the saddest sendoff I have ever seen a franchise do.

And I lived through Nightmare on Elm Street’s and Friday the 13th’s sorry excuse for endings.

My consensus is that while most of the kills are solid, the story is rushed where it should’ve been more impactful, and dragged out where it could’ve been a bit more sped up.

Way too many ‘red herrings’ even for a Scream movie, and most of the characters get ZERO development.

Doesn’t follow a formula, because there is none.

Overall story is meh, but the most grievous of sins was the killer reveal. Never in my life have I seen something so obviously tied together at the last minute.

A slap in face to all returning crew, new age ones included, for having such a contrived story.
