Antigone was born and raised in Baberton, alongside her brother Blake. The two weren’t the closest but they got along alright. From a young age, Antigone has been pretty much glued to her computer. She excelled in IT class in school and it was her favourite but she didn’t really like to just stick to things like coding and computer games. She liked those things but she got a taste for something much deeper. Antigone began to veer off and she learned a lot about hacking.

She became pretty skilled at it through research and self teaching, and it started small; worming her way into the school computers to change a grade. She also began to charge for this service until the school found out what she was doing and she did get into a lot of trouble… but it didn’t deter her and Antigone kept it up. Sneaking her way into places just for fun or to snoop around. It was wrong but she didn’t think she was harming anybody, she wasn’t using it for anything bad, and so she just kept doing it. Antigone’s interests caused her to have many people who wanted her services but also caused her to be something of a lone wolf. She had a few small groups she floated between but she spent a lot of time by herself, laptop glued to her side. She didn’t mind much and she was fairly content.

Antigone has strayed from her virtual world a little over the years and eventually came into the real one more, making a few new friends when she finally left high school, and getting herself a job at the local cinema that keeps her busy most days. She quite likes it as she’s always enjoyed the atmosphere in a cinema. She’s had a few encounters with Frances Kirk, a local tattoo artist, and they’ve had a couple of drunken nights of fun, though nothing too serious has come from it so far. They’re friendly whenever they see each other and she’s not opposed to it happening again. Fran was the one who also helped her figure out her gender identity.

Antigone sometimes wishes she was a little closer with her brother as she would like them to be able to talk properly about things and spend more time together but it’s just the way things are and she’s accepted them. She still spends time on the computer but when she was eighteen her mother took it away from her and it forced her to spend time in the real world and carve out a genuine life for herself. Only then was she allowed the thing back and, honestly, she’s a bit scared some days that she might get in too deep again. Antigone likes the real world, despite how weird the town has gotten, and she doesn’t want to be taken over by the virtual one.

Antigone was recruited onto the -A Team when Jamie Kirk was in charge, because of her computer and hacking skills. She was being rewarded with money for this. She had to hack into the police computers and sometimes change things around or plant something somewhere. The last thing she did for Jame was put something in place so that he had access to the security cameras. It was easy enough and she didn’t think she’d get into much trouble as she can stay under the radar. When Jamie was arrested, Antigone thought it was over and she was honestly only thinking about Frances, who was his sister. But now someone else seems to have taken his place and she should be careful. -A is certainly not Antigone’s friend and it would be very easy to throw her to the wolves with everything she’s done, and what she might be blackmailed to do next.
