why are you upset about people literally GOING VEGAN- as well as people with a massive influence who will most like convert a portion of their following to veganism as well??? Or does a world where veganism is universal not appeal to you???? How are you making something so positive into a negative??????

Although I think the reasons for going vegan are important, these people aren’t actually “literally going vegan”. Avoiding dairy so your skin will glow and you’ll look better in your fur coat isn’t vegan. 

I wouldn’t say it’s doing more harm than good - people still believe veganism is unhealthy so it’s great when a celebrity shows them otherwise. But I sure as fuck do find it annoying and disrespectful when people talk EXCLUSIVELY about the health benefits of not contributing to nonhuman slavery and slaughter. 

There are lots of ethical vegan celebrities, or those who at least mention animals. Like do you not find it ridiculous that you can read an entire article about someone being vegan (aka part of the animal rights movement, that’s what veganism is) and animals are never even mentioned? I find it pretty fucking gross.
