Today I redesigned the solopher, one of many creature species I made as a kid. Originally solophers had bat wings, but that kinda looked bad tbh and I ended up attempting to put the skin structure of a flying squirrel on a kangaroo. Looks pretty good imo.
Solophers are huge, like bear-sized. They live in an enormous rainforest that grows over a canyon, so they need to glide between the branches of enormous trees, and between rocky walls of the canyon.
They're strictly carnivores, and good predators at that - a well aimed leap can let them take out nearly any creature, no matter the size, though there are few things larger than a solopher around. Usually they opt for animals they can kill and eat in one snap of their maws. They rarely suffer from shortage of food, and outside their personally appointed feeding time they are quite docile.
Solophers are also quite intelligent and will remember and recognize creatures that have been helpful to them - there are some animals that feed on solophers' food scraps by cleaning them out of their teeth, or creatures that chew through the thick vines that solophers sometimes get tangled in, and these won't get attacked unless the predator is desperate, which almost never happens to them in the wild.
Because of that, solophers can be tamed, and with some work trained as mounts. But they can never be fully domesticated and need to be released afterwards. Keeping a solopher grounded would make them weak and unhappy, and it's impossible to properly replicate their environment in captivity.
what's up petz community, anybody want a tbh? I made tbh.

2nd generation loses eye shines. I won't fix it because I can't + it's hilarious
it's me boy. I'm the bucket. speaking to you inside your brain. listen to me, boy. leave the narrator, we don't need him!
listen I might be slightly obsessed with obscure stanley parable details but I really can’t get over the fact that employee 432 evaporated and became the settings person because he was surrounded by brainwashed people who refused to give him a pencil. they literally gave the man only pencil sharpeners and a lamp and put him in the office full of people who ignored him and he responded by fusing with the fabric of the game and literally becoming the settings. and then he proceeds to be like “you know what we need? more stanley parable. it needs to go on forever. this office that made me go insane and erased me from existence? bruh we should have infinite games about this”
it's about drive it's about power
