One aspect of The Cat Lady that is commonly made use of is the fact that the player character can actually die and come back to life. Because of this, many of the scenarios where the player character is in mortal danger can be carried out, but still allow the player to progress through the game’s puzzles- thus maintaining the gruesomeness of the game as a whole, without unnecessarily barring the player from advancing.
