I find it a little frustrating that the general consensus seems to be that any phone use or "screen-time" is inherently time "wasted".
If you're happy with the amount of time you spend on the phone or computer, you're not wasting time... simple as that! =|X3
If you're not happy with your usage, identify why and put barriers into place that prevent you from engaging in that behavior. Don't let someone blanket tell you that using a screen is bad, it's not!
But every once in a while I'll get an ad that's like "you only have so many weeks left in your life, do you really want to waste so much time on your phone" or "instead of wasting <x amount of time> on your phone every day, do this 'productive' thing that I want you to do".
Should you go outside or do stuff that's not on the phone/screen? Of course, probably there are things you enjoy that don't happen in-device! But it's not some kind of moral failing to enjoy screens! Your ideal "screen-time" probably isn't 0 (just guessing based on the fact that you're reading tumblr).
