Practical experimentation using a range of mark making materials to create your pattern. Week 2: Edit designs and expose to screens. Mix colours prepare print areas ready to create your first colour for your repeat pattern. Week 3: Introduction to silk screen monotypes. Create x 6 experimental outcomes using colour. Colour exercise, printing and creating expressive and unique prints. Week 4: Create x 3 A4 Silk Screen Monotypes working from your own landscape photographs. Week 5 & 8: Design a 3 colour silk screen print for edition onto paper. Week 9 & 10: True grain collaging, design and print a set of cards or postcards.
