With being stuck in a school came making his own merchandise... Well, he didn't mind! Knitting was a favorite past time, after all.. And he'd managed to knit an unnecessarily large amount of little squirrels.. Plush with some plush filling he found. Blue like his hair. Red masks.. Familiar?
Well. Yes.
Still, it didn't even seem as though he was tired of it. He continued humming a fanfare as the needles he held clicked together. Unfortunately for whomever walked into the storage room of all places, it was easy to tip the basket of tiny Splendids that was set on a high shelf all too close to the entrance. Why a high shelf? So he could show off and toss each new plush into it after he'd finished. That was all there was to it, unfortunately. With that in mind, another was tossed over his shoulder, landed in the basket and with the added weight the basket had already begun tipping from an excessive amount of Splendids on one side... The last one was enough to successfully knock it over just as someone entered the room.
It fell off the shelf.. Dumping his afternoon's work onto Craig with the basket to top off the current storage room destruction. It was a mess! His plush works were everywhere and when he decided to peek over his shoulder from where he was sitting on the floor, Splendid blinked as he picked himself up.
"Oh. Did you try to reach them?"
He asked this seemingly unaware that it was his doing that caused the avalanche.
Picking up just one, Splendid practically shoved the stuffed Splendid into the other's face with a sure nod.
"Then you may have one! Consider it a gift. Would you like it signed as well?"

where optimism succeeds | akise & craig
Having observed the hundreds that crowded among their cottages over the course of weeks, Akise had been able to gauge the average hours certain people wandered, despite the duration of his stay not yet being of any remarkable length. To know the schedules of his fellow students was vital if he wished to find a point where they might run into each other and introduce themselves, if not for use in future investigations.
But while it went without saying that the atmosphere of the island varied drastically based on executions, trials, and the general attitudes of the populace, there did exist one person he hadn't seen much of regardless of the circumstances. To shut oneself in was one thing during a time of depression, but to do so frequently was not a particularly healthy sign.
So it was with a bit of curiosity and every intention of exchanging formalities that the detective sought out this person's home, some eighty rooms away from his own. He was nothing less than resolute in how he approached even the most humble of goals, as he would prove personally. Purposely choosing a time where the other's roommates would be absent, he proceeded to knock casually on the door, waiting first for a response that might hint to his character before speaking.
"The second island is now available for us to explore, are you not even remotely interested?"
Blunt, perhaps. Maybe even inconsiderate given the discomfort students experienced when they entered the school building. But his motives were honest, if little else.
"There are Monobear coins that can be found there as well, I hear. Along with a place to exchange them for items-- even food." He paused, wondering only if he could gain the other's interest, however spare.
"I plan to see for myself, would you mind coming along?"
