I got canon!Henry here, but I have a Lot of feelings about him depending on the interpretation.

Even though he's not Henry per se, "Soul Meets Body"/Death Cab For Cutie gives me kind of Scribbles vibes?
He doesn't know what he'll find at the end of it all, but he's his own being, he can wash himself of Joey's influence and, though he can't undo what's been done there, the studio.
(hhhhh Scribbles and Sammy wash each others hands and just hold them hand in hand under running water something something the rituals are Intricate. its Intimacy and stimming all at once and it's the first time in years Sammy's seen clean water, are they even waterproof who knows, not I, no siree)

"The Feel Again"/Blue October gives me big Pre-studio Senry, with a touch of bittersweet reunion?
They had the inklings (hehe) of something when they were first working together, cue everyone jumping ship when the economy crashed and they make a promise that if they quit they'll quit together.
Several private moments kissing in the office and going home together later that promise becomes "I'll never let you go".
Now 30 years later in the loops all Sammy remembers of their old life together is a broken trust and this emptiness in him, this tremendous grief that he can't explain that gas something to do with Henry. And he is angry. How dare he, how dare Henry make him suffer more than they already are. How dare he take something from him that he can't even remember.
And Henry? Henry has nothing but regrets. To see the man reduced to a husk of his former self, mind mangled beyond belief is what shocks him into realizing what's happened in the last 30 years since he left Sammy behind.
And that love for Sammy never ended. Despite everything, he loves him just as much now as he did 30 years ago, and Henry will do whatever it takes to earn his forgiveness.
This got very long and I hope it was satisfying despite any inaccuracies ^^
