Follow-up emails or even a card thanking them for their time are great things to do! Doesn't matter what the job is, it shows them that you're serious about it.
maybe follow up isn’t the right choice of words---i haven’t actually interviewed yet. just sent my resume and a short paragraph, as that’s what they wanted. i just realized in my paragraph i talked more about why i thought i’d be a good fit and less about why i want to work there bc i thought it’d be too gushing. but now i worry it wasn’t the right thing to say bc on their site they say tell us why you want the job. and i’m just stressing.
even though i only applied yesterday.
but i am not very good at playing it cool, obviously. aka i have the anxiety of a jack rabbit
