So that wasn’t the bestest month ever

I am pretty much abandoning “Half Blood Prince” - the story isn’t as good as I thought it would be, and I really have no urge to continue with it. 

And, compared to “The Power” it is really, really bad. 

So it turns out that for this month, there will be no fanfic updates. I could try to write more of 9th Floor or Dreamland before the end of April, but given it is four days away, I don’t think I would get anything done.

And I did think about going back and finding something I’d written ages ago, tidying it up and posting it, but again - meh.

So I guess April will just be the month of no posting, and I will get myself sorted for May (which starts with a three day weekend so that should be helpful)

Apologies and all that, but what can you do?

Hermione Granger and The Half Blood Prince

Despite this being a truly terrible weekend for all sorts of reasons, I did achieve one thing -- I have passed the milestone for victory in ScriptFrenzy 2015, because “The Half Blood Prince” has reached 101 pages.

It is still not finished - I am about six pages from the end of Act 4, and Act 5 is still to come, but still - given how little writing I have been doing over the last week, I would say it is quite a surprise that I am where I am.

And there are (I would estimate) only about another 20, 25 pages (after Act 4 is done) to go, which should, in theory, be doable in ten days.

Anyway. Go me.

Script Frenzy 2015

I think I have figured out the story I want to write for this - the second in the series that started with "Hermione Granger and The Power He Knows Not", provisionally titled "Hermione Granger and The Half Blood Prince".

Hermione is in the summer before her final year at St Trinian's, and plans on spending it doing not a great deal and relaxing with her girlfriend.

However she gets a call from Polly Riley, who is a "consultant" to The Mason Family, and finds herself, as well as some of her friends from Hogwarts, dragged in to the world of organised crime.

I mostly know the plot, but just need to flesh it out a bit.

(I am contemplating calling the series "The Rods Of The Five Wizards" as that will be the running theme. My only problem is I know who two of the five are, and need to work out who the other two would be).
