Tacky Christmas Sweaters, Avengers edition
I had a thought last night (and I'm a writer, not an artist, so sadly it's a thought not a picture) of what Avengers-themed tacky Christmas sweaters would look like. So here are my conclusions:
Black Widow: black background, columns of tiny, fat green Christmas trees in pairs aligned tip-to-tip. (Yes, they're making an hourglass shape with Christmas trees.) Tinsel embroidered on the trees with red yarn, and a red bobble where each pair of trees meets for the star.
Bruce Banner/Hulk: dark purple background, with columns of embroidered silver Erlenmeyer flasks (the conical ones in every stereotypical lab video ever). Inside the flasks, bright green fizzy liquid that bubbles up golden over the top, like a radioactive Christmas tree and star.
Captain America: slanted red and white stripes (like a candy cane) with big dark blue snowflakes embroidered all over.
Falcon: navy blue background, little white doves in flight all over
Hawkeye: lavender background, with columns of circular dark purple ornaments (think archery targets). Each ornament has an embroidered black arrow embedded in the center, and the arrows alternate which direction the fletching points from - left or right.
Iron Man: one big picture on a navy blue background - the Iron Man suit in a big red-and-gold sleigh, pulled by Dummy, You, and Butterfingers
Thor: red background, with lots of tiny golden Mjolnirs arranged in sixes like snowflakes, with the handles to the center. Lots of little hammer snowflakes.
Winter Soldier: royal blue background, with a large white angel, wings spread, holding a red star. On his shoulders, the Howling Commandos wings.
