Today was the funeral of the emperor along with his two eldest sons. Kouha-sama seems to be too young to understand the gravity of their death. Nonetheless he seems to be very sad about it and so am I. Both Hakuyuu and Hakuren-sama were benevolent princes which were very good to my young master when others are not. I may not know them personally but it gives me great joy whenever I see them spend time with my master. Their demise gives me mixed emotions as I just recently escaped death myself all thanks to Kouha-sama of course. I just hope his family and our country recovers from this loss. The entire Kou empire would surely mourn for them and would never forget the legacy they shared upon their people.
