this   week,   we're   stepping   into   the   break   rooms   and   lockers   of   two   of   new   york   city's   most   legendary   and   fiercely   competitive   hospitals:   lexington   university   hospital   and   kingsley   memorial   hospital.   from   personalized   trauma   kits   to   lucky   pens,   custom   coffee   blends,   operating   room   music   playlists   and   even   handwritten   pep   talks   on   post-it   notes   ⸺   we're   getting   an   intimate   peek   into   the   lives   behind   the   scrubs   of   what   gets   them   through   36   hour   shifts,   critical   cases   and   the   quiet   moments   no   one   sees.

known   for   their   high   ambitions,   lexington   reps   show   us   their   organized   lockers   and   yes,   they   are   color   coded,   hidden   espresso   shots   and   copies   of   surgical   journals   with   tabs   and   annotations. 

straight   from   the   queens,   kingsley   staff   comes   in   hot   with   trauma   boots,   prayer   cards,   stress   balls   and   a   thermos   that's   been   through   literal   hell   but   somehow   still   keeps   their   coffee   hot.
